hOurworld provides software and training to teach communities how to start a service exchange in their area. This week, my guest on The Progressive Radio Network is one of the founders of a great non profit organization called hOurworld. Slow food Huntington has another wonderful event with the Cinema Arts Centre on March 1st – a screening of TEDx Manhattan Changing the Way We Eat.? It will be an all day event in the Sky Cafe, and it is a free! Chipotle Restaurant has partnered with TEDx Manhattan and will be providing food throughout the day, so come out and support “Changing the Way We Eat.” A big thank you to all of the volunteers who helped to make it the success that it was.

The community did not let me down!? Everyone who came out added so much to the evening. At the beginning of the week we only had 12 tickets sold and I was panicking. I have already been asked when the next one is going to be and to make it an annual event. Well I have to say, I am still flying high on the energy of Sunday night’s first Film Feast in Five courses with Slow Food Huntington at the Cinema Arts Centre.
